NEUROTOXIN
Botox
Wrinkle-relaxing injections of Botulinum Toxin are used to treat forehead wrinkles, frown lines, and crows feet. A small amount is injected directly into the muscle, causing it to gradually relax and smooth the overlying skin. The effect lasts 3-4 months. It is also FDA-approved to treat excessive sweating of the underarms, hands, and feet, also known as hyperhidrosis.
Dysport
Dysport is a type of injectable treatment used to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face. It is a form of botulinum toxin, similar to Botox, which works by temporarily blocking the nerve impulses that cause muscle contraction. This results in a reduction of the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, giving the skin a smoother and more youthful appearance. Dysport is commonly used to treat wrinkles around the forehead, eyebrows, and eyes. It is also used to reduce the appearance of neckbands and to lift the corners of the mouth. Dysport can last up to four months.
Xeomin
Xeomin is an injectable cosmetic treatment that is used to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines on the face. It is a neuromodulator, which means it works by temporarily blocking nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions. This results in a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, giving the skin a smoother and more youthful appearance. Xeomin is particularly effective for treating wrinkles around the forehead, eyebrows, and eyes. It is also used to reduce the appearance of neckbands and lift the corners of the mouth. Unlike other similar treatments, Xeomin is purified from any additional proteins, which may make it less likely to cause an allergic reaction. The treatment requires minimal downtime, and the effects last for about 3-4 months.
